Eric Mogentale
Co-Founder & Managing PrincipalEric Mogentale is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal at Walton Street and a member of the Management and Investment Committees. He is responsible for the strategic direction, investment and management of the Funds and the management of the Firm.
Prior to forming Walton Street, Mr. Mogentale was a Vice President at JMB Institutional Realty Corporation in the Acquisitions Group and, prior thereto, a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen & Company.
Mr. Mogentale received a BA from Northwestern University and is a member of the Northwestern University Leadership Circle, a Director of the Springboard Foundation, and an Executive Board Member of the Kellogg Real Estate Advisory Council.
Jeffrey Quicksilver
Co-Founder & Managing PrincipalJeffrey Quicksilver is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal at Walton Street and a member of the Management and Investment Committees. He is responsible for the strategic direction, investment and management of the Funds and the management of the Firm.
Prior to forming Walton Street, Mr. Quicksilver was a Managing Director at JMB Realty Corporation.
Mr. Quicksilver received a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from Stanford University. He is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable, the Urban Land Institute, the Stanford Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE), and the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center. Mr. Quicksilver also serves as a Policy Advisory Board Member for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and is an Advisory Board Member of the University of Michigan Ross Real Estate Advisory Fund Board.
Robert Bloom
Managing PrincipalRobert Bloom is a Managing Principal at Walton Street and a member of the Management and Investment Committees. He is responsible for the strategic direction, investment and management of the Funds and the management of the Firm. Mr. Bloom leads the Asset Management Group and is the Portfolio Manager for Walton Street’s WSRE Core-Plus strategy.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Bloom was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Merchant Banking Division.
Mr. Bloom received a BA in History from Yale University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Richard Ratke
Managing PrincipalRichard Ratke is a Managing Principal at Walton Street, Co-Founder of the Debt Platform and member of the Management and Investment Committees. He is responsible for the strategic direction, investment and management of the Funds and the management of the Firm. Previously, Mr. Ratke oversaw the distressed credit investment platform on behalf of Walton Street’s opportunistic equity WSRE Funds.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Ratke was an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Company in the Investment Banking division where he focused on corporate finance, M&A, and debt securitization in the Real Estate group.
Mr. Ratke received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
Stephen Sotoloff
Senior PrincipalStephen Sotoloff is a Senior Principal and member of the Investment Committee. He is responsible for the strategic direction, investment and management of the Funds and leads the Acquisitions Group.
Mr. Sotoloff’s experience spans over 20 years in multiple strategies and sectors including opportunistic, value-add, and core-plus equity investments including hospitality, industrial, housing, office, retail, and mixed-use assets.
He received a BS in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University.
Arshon Afrakhteh
Vice PresidentArshon Afrakhteh is a Vice President on the Asset Management team and helps to manage the Equity Platform’s retail, industrial, and hospitality investments.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Afrakhteh was an Acquisitions & Development Analyst with Brandywine supporting developer’s investment, construction, and marketing efforts.
Mr. Afrakhteh received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago with general honors.
Joe Callahan
AnalystJoe Callahan is an Analyst on the Debt Platform team. Mr. Callahan is responsible for financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence of potential debt investments on the Debt Platform.
Mr. Callahan received a BA in Financial Economics with minors in Accountancy and Real Estate from the University of Notre Dame.
Hilary Caudle
Vice PresidentHilary Caudle is a Vice President on the Debt Platform team and is responsible for debt originations in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C. regions.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Caudle was a Senior Investment Associate at PGIM Real Estate focused on the Core Debt platform.
Ms. Caudle received a BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Peter Cleveland
AssociatePeter Cleveland is an Associate on the Debt Platform team. Mr. Cleveland is responsible for fund management and reporting on the Debt Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Cleveland was a Senior Analyst at CNO Financial Group in the Corporate Finance department.
Mr. Cleveland received a BBA in Finance and Business Law from the University of Miami.
Peter Cogan
PrincipalPeter Cogan is a Principal on the Acquisitions team and is responsible for sourcing new value-add/opportunistic and core-plus acquisitions with a focus on the West Coast, across property types, and U.S. lodging nationwide. Mr. Cogan has been involved in direct real estate investments, portfolio transactions, joint ventures, and developments.
Mr. Cogan received a BBA in Finance from The Mendoza College of Business with an additional degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
Raphael Dawson
Senior PrincipalRaphael Dawson is a Senior Principal on the Asset Management team and is responsible for the equity development and debt assets in India, as well as the resiliency assessments and recovery planning for fund assets with hurricane, earthquake, and/or flood risks. Mr. Dawson also leads the technical and consultant coordination for the expansion of Walton Street’s ESG initiatives across the Debt and Equity Platforms.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Dawson was a Vice President of Development at PGIM Real Estate where he managed joint ventures with foreign and domestic partners for mixed-use urban development and redevelopment projects.
Mr. Dawson received a BS in Urban Planning and an MS in Real Estate Appraisal Theory and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Dawson is a member of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, the UW Global Real Estate Masters, the Cabrini Capital Committee, and he is a Board Member of Chicago Youth Programs, Inc.
Graham Dorland
DirectorGraham Dorland is a Director on the Marketing team and is responsible for fund development and capital raising, including ongoing investor and consultant relations, marketing, and communications.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Dorland was a Regional Director at Dimensional Fund Advisors where he served as an institutional sales and client service professional across the Midwest region of the U.S.
Mr. Dorland received a BA in Business and an MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from Eastern Washington University. Mr. Dorland is a CFA Charterholder and CAIA Charterholder.
Jason Eidenberg
Tax DirectorJason Eidenberg is a Tax Director on the Financial Reporting team. Mr. Eidenberg is responsible for Tax Compliance and Reporting oversight across Walton Street’s Debt and Equity Platforms.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Eidenberg was a Senior Manager at KPMG, LLP serving as lead tax manager for large real estate fund and REIT engagements.
Mr. Eidenberg received a BS with Honors in Finance & Accounting from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kim Everaerts
Vice PresidentKim Everaerts is a Vice President on the Financial Reporting team. Ms. Everaerts is responsible for overseeing the financial and portfolio reporting for the Core-plus strategy, including managing the third-party administrator.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Everaerts was a Vice President & Fund Controller at Capri Capital Partners where she managed financial and portfolio reporting for several closed-end funds.
Ms. Everaerts received a BS in Accounting from Globe University Minnesota and a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Ms. Everaerts is a Certified Public Accountant.
A.J. Fleck
Senior PrincipalA.J. Fleck is a Senior Principal on the Finance team and leads debt capital markets for the Equity Platform, focusing on both fund-level financing strategies and property-level financings across all asset classes and geographies.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Fleck was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young LLP.
Mr. Fleck received a BA in Finance and Accounting from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mary Foynes Gaza
DirectorMary Foynes Gaza is a Director on the Legal & Compliance team. Ms. Gaza supports the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel in administering and maintaining Walton Street’s compliance program to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Gaza was the Chief Compliance Officer at Raith Capital Partners, LLC and a Vice President & Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Resource America, Inc.

Jayne Fradin

Spenser Gilliand
PrincipalSpenser Gilliand is a Principal on the Acquisitions team. Mr. Gilliand is responsible for acquisitions and investment activity in the Southwest, Southeast, Pacific Northwest, and Washington, D.C. MSA. Mr. Gilliand also works on single-family rental acquisitions nationwide.
Mr. Gilliand received a BS in Commerce and a BS in Economics from the University of Virginia with Distinction.
Luke Goodwin
Senior PrincipalLuke Goodwin is a Senior Principal, head of originations, and member of the Debt Platform management team. He is responsible for leading originations across the Debt Platform. Prior to the Debt Platform’s inception, Mr. Goodwin managed lending and debt capital markets relationships for the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Goodwin was an Associate at Heitman and, prior thereto, a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young LLP.
Mr. Goodwin received a BA in Accounting and an MS in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Goodwin is a member and mentor for CREFC and a member of ULI. He also serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees for the Hinsdale Community House, a non-profit that provides community-based social and counseling services and recreation opportunities.
James Holmes
Senior PrincipalJames Holmes is a Senior Principal on the Asset Management team. Mr. Holmes leads the development, stabilization, operation, and disposition of assets in the Equity Platform, including hotel, office, senior living, multifamily, retail, industrial, and gaming.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Holmes was a Vice President at Trammell Crow Company, where he led development efforts, including acquisition, entitlement, construction, stabilization, and disposition of various developments throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Holmes received a BS Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
Tom Jaeger
Senior PrincipalTom Jaeger is a Senior Principal on the Acquisitions team. Mr. Jaeger is responsible for sourcing acquisitions and overseeing investment activity across asset classes, including multifamily and logistics, in the Southeast, Midwest, and Texas. Additionally, Mr. Jaeger oversees coverage for the lodging and retail sectors nationwide.
Mr. Jaeger received a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
Jessica Jahn
Vice PresidentJessica Jahn is a Vice President on the Investor Relations team. Ms. Jahn supports the Marketing team throughout the investor due diligence process, including the management of RFP/DDQ completion, as well as the firm’s public relations efforts.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Jahn was a Marketing & Investor Services Director at Aurora Investment Management.
Ms. Jahn received a BA in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University.
Kate Kappas
DirectorKate Kappas is the Director of the Investor Relations team and oversees ongoing reporting and correspondence with current investors and the completion of due diligence materials for potential investors.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Kappas was a Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Asset Management Assurance department.

Brian Kelly
Senior PrincipalBrian Kelly is a Senior Principal on the Asset Management team. Mr. Kelly leads the redevelopment, stabilization, operations, and disposition of single asset and portfolio investments in the Equity Platform, with a primary focus on office and logistics properties.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Kelly was an Associate at JMB Realty Corporation in the Financial Reporting group.

Kelly Piper Kiley
AP ManagerKelly Piper Kiley is an Accounts Payable Manager and Corporate Accounting Associate on the Financial Reporting team and is responsible for the oversight and management of the day-to-day accounts payable functions while supporting the CFO and Director of Financial Reporting as needed.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Kiley was a Sales Manager at Beam, Inc. (formerly Fortune Brands, Inc. and Jim Beam Brands Company).

Nate Kirchmier
PrincipalNate Kirchmier is a Principal on the Acquisitions team. Mr. Kirchmier is responsible for acquisitions and investment activity in Florida, the Northeast U.S., and the Mountain Region (Colorado and Utah). Mr. Kirchmier also works on student housing acquisitions nationwide.

Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Langer was a Vice President at Byline Bank, where she oversaw the disposition of OREO assets and restructured non-performing loans. Prior thereto, she was a Vice President in BlackRock’s Real Estate Debt group and previously an Associate/Analyst within Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities group.
Ms. Langer received a BA in Math and Economics from the University of Michigan with distinction and a MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Jack Lannon

Billy Law

Mr. Law leads originations for all asset classes in the San Francisco Bay Area, Pacific Northwest, and Southwest regions and is also responsible for loan originations in niche sectors nationally. Mr. Law is Co-Chairman of Walton Street’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
Prior to joining the Debt Platform team, Mr. Law was a Vice President on the Acquisitions team at Walton Street. Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Law was an Associate at Eastdil Secured in the Investment Sales, Debt Placement, and Private Equity groups.
Mr. Law received a BS in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and International Business from the University of Virginia.
Jimmy Luccas
PrincipalJimmy Luccas is a Principal on the Debt Platform and Finance teams and is responsible for asset management of the Debt Platform as well as support in the origination and structuring of borrowings on behalf of the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Luccas was an Associate at Callahan Capital Partners.

Charlotte McCubbrey
Vice PresidentCharlotte McCubbrey is a Vice President of Investor Relations. Ms. McCubbrey supports the Investor Relations team with ongoing due diligence and correspondence with current investors.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. McCubbrey was an Experienced Associate at PwC.
Ms. McCubbrey received a BA in Accounting from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Allison McDowell
Chief Compliance OfficerAllison McDowell is the Chief Compliance Officer on the Legal & Compliance team. Ms. McDowell oversees compliance matters for the firm and its investment platforms.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. McDowell was the Chief Compliance Officer at DSC Advisors, L.P.
Ms. McDowell received a BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
Laurel McKelvey

Shelby McNally
Vice PresidentShelby McNally is a Vice President on the Investor Relations team and is responsible for ongoing reporting and correspondence with current investors and the completion of due diligence materials for potential investors.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. McNally was an Assistant Portfolio Controller at LaSalle Investment Management.
Ms. McNally received a BA in Accounting with a minor in Business Statistics from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Amanda Milnes
Senior PrincipalAmanda Milnes is a Senior Principal on the Debt Platform team. Ms. Milnes leads the capital markets execution for the Debt Platform, including developing and executing the Debt Platform’s leverage strategy, as well as maintaining and growing the Firm’s lending partners.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Milnes was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young LLP.
Ms. Milnes received a BA in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a member of the Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF) and the CRE Finance Council (CREFC). Ms. Milnes is also active in the Goldie Initiative mentorship program.
Andy Nahumyk
DirectorAndy Nahumyk is the Director of Financial Reporting on the Financial Reporting team. Mr. Nahumyk provides direct oversight for all financial reporting of both the Equity Platform and Debt Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Nahumyk was a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP in the Real Estate Audit group.
Mr. Nahumyk received a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Paul Niser
Chief Technology OfficerPaul Niser is the Chief Technology Officer at Walton Street and oversees the Information Technology team. As CTO, Mr. Niser provides strategic and tactical leadership across multiple technology domains.
Prior to joining Walton, Mr. Niser was a Vice President at GCM Grosvenor. He has also held technical leadership roles at Citadel and Bank of America.
Mr. Niser received a BS in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University and holds the following designations: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), along with several other technical and non-technical certifications and designations. Mr. Niser is a member, and past board member, of Chicago InfraGard where he was selected to participate in the FBI’s Citizens Academy. Mr. Niser is an active participant in the CIO and CISO communities. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Fabian Nunez
Fund ControllerFabian Nunez is a Fund Controller and Assistant Vice President on the Financial Reporting team and is responsible for financial reporting for the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Nunez was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP and, prior thereto, a Senior Manager at KPMG US LLP.
Mr. Nunez received a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso. Mr. Nunez is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and Texas.
Jim Odenbach
Senior PrincipalJim Odenbach is a Senior Principal on the Debt Platform team and leads asset management for the Debt Platform. Previously, Mr. Odenbach oversaw Walton Street’s investments in Mesa West Capital, including loan origination, surveillance, foreclosures, discounted payoffs, REO sales, restructuring, and modifications of performing and non-performing loans.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Odenbach was an Associate at JMB Realty Corporation in the Financial Reporting group.
Mr. Odenbach received a BBA from Loyola University.

Alexander Porter

Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Porter was an Associate at Bellwether Asset Management where he assisted in the management of an Oaktree Capital Management real estate portfolio.

Tara Rosacker

Ms. Rubano is responsible for overseeing the development, leasing, and operations of ground-up development projects throughout the Equity Platform, as well as managing the leasing and operations of industrial real estate assets for the Core-Plus strategy.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Ms. Rubano was a Senior Analyst at PwC and worked in the Tax Internal Wholesale department at Lord Abbett.
Ms. Rubano received a BBA in Finance from James Madison University and an MS in Accounting from Baruch College. Ms. Rubano is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Robby Schwindt
PrincipalRobby Schwindt is a Principal on the Asset Management team and is responsible for managing all aspects of the retail portfolio including leasing, redevelopment, and disposition for the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Schwindt was a Financial Analyst in the Global Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Management Division at Bank of America.
Mr. Schwindt received a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC).
Matthew Shindler
Fund ControllerMatthew Shindler is a Fund Controller on the Financial Reporting team and manages all aspects of financial and portfolio reporting, accounting, and operations for the Mexico Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Shindler was an Audit Manager at RSM US LLP in the National Real Estate group.
Mr. Shindler received a BA in Finance & Accounting from Florida Atlantic University with Honors. Mr. Shindler is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois and Florida.
Paul Slaughter
Fund ControllerPaul Slaughter is a Fund Controller on the Financial Reporting Team and is responsible for managing the financial reporting for the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Slaughter was a Director at Alter Domus where he was the Head of Private Equity & Real Estate funds.
Mr. Slaughter received a BS in Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dave Splithoff
Senior PrincipalDave Splithoff is a Senior Principal on the Marketing team and is responsible for fund development and capital raising, including ongoing investor and consultant relations, marketing, and communications.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Splithoff was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Splithoff received a BA in Psychology from Princeton University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jeff Traven
Fund ControllerJeff Traven is a Fund Controller and Assistant Vice President on the Financial Reporting team. Mr. Traven is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for the Equity Platform.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Traven was a Senior Accountant for JMB Realty Corporation and a Portfolio Controller with Jones Lang LaSalle.
Mr. Traven received a BBA from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Josh Troxel
Senior PrincipalJosh Troxel is a Senior Principal on the Acquisitions team and is responsible for sourcing acquisitions in Northern California, Arizona, Colorado, and the Mid-Atlantic. Additionally, Mr. Troxel oversees new acquisitions nationally in the single family rental and student housing sectors.
Mr. Troxel received a BS in Economics with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Troxel is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Multifamily Housing Council, and the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center where he participates in the mentorship program.
Dick Watson
Senior Principal & CFODick Watson is a Senior Principal and the Chief Financial Officer overseeing the Financial Reporting team.
Prior to joining Walton Street, Mr. Watson was an Accounting Manager at JMB Realty Corporation, a Senior Internal Auditor at Melvin Simon & Associate, and a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche (then Touche Ross & Company).
Mr. Watson received a BS in Accounting from Purdue University.
Laura Weidaw
Senior PrincipalLaura Weidaw is a Senior Principal on the Asset Management team and is responsible for the housing assets (multifamily and single family rental) on the Equity Platform.

Douglas Welker
Senior PrincipalDouglas Welker is a Senior Principal on the Portfolio Reporting team and is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Portfolio Reporting team and function within the Firm. Mr. Welker is also the Head of Asset Management for Walton Street’s Core-Plus Strategy.
